Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday, May 29 at 5:00pm in Sag Harbor: We are honored to recognize Lt. Michael P. Murphy, United States Navy SEAL, recipient of the Medal of Honor. Michael was a local boy and his extraordinary sacrifice for our country is recounted in a new book, SEAL of Honor: Operation Red Wings and the Life of Lt. Michael P. Murphy, USN, by Gary Williams (Naval Institute Press). The Murphy family and Mr. Williams will be on hand to read and discuss the events in Michael's service in Afghanistan that led to his receiving the country's highest honor. Please join us and bring your friends and family as we salute the life of this most outstanding young man.
