“Kites For a Cure,” a family kite fly benefit on Coopers Beach in Southampton, NY, to raise money for lung cancer research, will take place on Saturday, May 29, 2010 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. The event is hosted by Uniting Against Lung Cancer. Kites, snacks and family fun will be available to all guests for a $25 donation in advance or for $30 at the event. (The rain date for the kite fly is Sunday, May 30 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.) Parking is free.
