| Description |
One of the most anticiapted and affordable family Hampton's traditons is the Annual Artists & Writers Charity Softball Game. This year the game will be played on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Herrick Park in historic East Hampton. The game will start a bit earlier this year at 2:00 pm with batting practice starting at noon. This long standing charity event benefits 3 local charities: East End Hospice, East Hampton Day Care Learning Center & Phoenix Houses of Long Island. Admission is a suggested donation of $10 per person, limited edition t-shirts & hats are available for purchase as well. The all star line up this year will include Countess Lou Ann de Lesseps, Alec Baldwin, Christie Brinkley, Josh Charles, Rod Gilbert, Bert Sugar, James Lipton, Greg Bello & Jim Leyritz and many other familiar faces.
