Hamptons Car Of The Day: The New Jaguar XJ

Dipped In Platinum...the new Jaguar XJ is the ultimate in luxury and performance, and it's coming to the Hamptons this weekend.

Launching in the Hamptons this weekend, VIPs will enjoy a twenty-mile test drive from Bridgehampton to Sag Harbor in the new Jag (and an Abe & Arthur's catered BBQ at The Estate after).  What makes this car so great? All the makings of a luxury sedan: stunning design, intuitive technology and innovative thinking that delivers a remarkable driving experience. Some of the more interesting features include:

  • Panoramic glass roof providing streamlined design as well as a more open, airy feel inside.
  • Aerospace-inspired aluminum body technology, weighing in 300 lbs. lighter than steel body construction.
  • Sustainability: 50 percent of the car is built from recycled or reclaimed material
  • JaguarDrive control allows driving options like Standard, Winter, and Dynamic, for better handling in all conditions.
  • All models in the range deliver more standard features for less money (ahem...relatively speaking) than the competition.

As part of the launch, they're starting a multi-city takeover initiative, bringing deep experiences and engagements with the brand to three major markets: New York, LA, and South Florida. Look out for this car zooming around the Hamptons this weekend!

the Jag, a once great sports sedan, is now only encountered in the North Shore Towers parking lot being driven by old Jewish grandmas named Shirley.
