Art Miami has been a staple on the Miami art scene for over two decades, and this summer, the fair will be headed to the Hamptons for the first time.

Art Southampton, scheduled to take place July 26-30, will be held inside a 75,000 square-foot pavilion behind the Southampton Elks Lodge, according to Gallerist NY. About 70 international galleries will be presenting at the fair, including Allan Stone, Waterhouse & Dodd, and Hollis Taggart. More»

Former Wall Streeter, John Codling traded in his suits for paintbrushes when he hit the art scene with his "Sundays with Chris" series. The collection of paintings of Christopher Walken stirred up quite a buzz back in 2009, and over this weekend guests piled into the Waasteria Fallery in Wainscott to check out the over 200 pieces of work for his new show. The turn out was great, even everybody's favorite (and usually under the radar) NERD Pharrell Williams came out to support.

South African artist Joel Bermano believes that he was born with a tormented soul, but the joyful, vibrant paintings of his that were shown over the weekend at The Bego Ezair Gallery in Southampton were anything but dark, and brought out the likes of Justin Mitchell, Cindy Guyer and Sonja Morgan... [Emmett Shine and James Cruickshank] Apparently not everyone was at the polo on Saturday - those of more of an artistic set were celebrating the opening of The LOLA Gallery at 85 Jobs Lane in Southampton. With arms wide open, the community welcomed back LOLA, as Southampton is where this laidback gallery got it's original groundings. The gallery, which is located right in the heart of the village across from Agawam Park, held host to a lively crowd for the opening reception including James Cruickshank, Emmett Shine, Harley Viera-Newton, Marc and Vanessa Packer, Tripoli Patterson, Max Barbaria and Suzanne Diaz of Max & Suzanne, and Genevieve Hudson-Price.
