This weekend, the fourth annual Montauk Music Festival kicked off summer 2013 without skipping a beat. From May 16-19, indie musicians took to local venues for the volunteer-run, grassroots live music festival. Among the festival's featured musicians were folk, pop, rock, and hip hop artists. On Sunday night, the Cinema Society with the Hollywood Reporter and Samsung Galaxy S III hosted an outdoor screening of "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" at Donna & Gabby Karan's home in East Hampton. The 37th Annual Hampton Classic Horse Show galloped into Bridgehampton this past week, drawing big crowds for Sunday’s main event, the $250,000 FTI Grand Prix. Michael Bloomberg, whose daughter Georgina competed earlier in the week, enjoyed the VIP tent, along with James Lipton, Peter Cook, B. Smith, Jill Zarin, Rick and Kathy Hilton, Kelly Klein, and Rosanna Scotto. The scene from the VIP tent was only trumped by the action on the field, where Kent Farrington triumphed in a three-horse jump-off on Amalaya Investments’ 10-year-old horse, Voyeur. More»

Russell Simmons and Deepak Chopra took to the mic at a Moroccan Oil and Hamptons Magazine event to raise awareness for Life Camp, speaking out about gun violence and their wishes for all people to find their path to spirituality to make the world a better place. Guests including Congressman Meeks, Malik Yoba (Alphas) and Salt from Salt & Pepper listened to their inspirational speeches while dining on fare from Beaumarchais A La Plage. More»

On Saturday, Bradley Cooper joined the cast of CBS Films' The Words at their private Hamptons screening by Fiji Water and Carrera. Carrera gifted guests with sunglasses, as well as provided gift bags with a beach towel and flip flops. Fiji Water provided water for everyone at their seats in the theater and at the bar. After the screening at Goose Creek, guests made their way over to the after party at Georgica restaurant.

On Friday night, Lawrence Kaplan and Douglas Polley celebrate the Parrish Art Museum by hosting a conversation about the development of the museum with director Terrie Sultan. On Saturday, restaurateur Tom Colicchio and his wife Lori Silverbush, along with Jon Bon Jovi his wife Dorothea Hurley, Susan Burden, and Avis and Bruce Richards hosted the 2nd annual “What’s on the Table?” benefit for the United Way of New York City. More»

On Saturday, the sixth annual SuperBurger competition was held at the Montauk Yacht Club. In the backyard of the club, overlooking the marina, an area was roped off for the fierce competition between some of the best burger creators of the East End and Manhattan. The backyard bash was a casual event decorated with picnic tables, paper towel napkins, and ping pong tables. In addition to the burger booths, Amstel Light lined the harbor side with kegs on end, providing unlimited tap beer for the four hour event.

On Wednesday, Elie Tahari East Hampton boutique helped kick off the Hamptons Classic, one of the largest outdoor horse shows in the nation. Hosted by Georgina Bloomberg, Chad Leat, and Stormy Byorum, guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while shopping the new collection. 10% of all of the sales from the event were donated to the ASPCA.
