On Saturday evening, Peter Wilson and Scott Sanderson opened up their immaculate East Hampton estate on Further Lane to host School’s Out – a benefit to raise money for the Hetrick-Martin and celebrate the accomplishments of the 2008-2009 Harvey Milk High School. This year’s co-chairs for School’s Out were Brendan Coolidge Monaghan and O’Brien Kelley. Lots of dapper Dons and sleek Donnas threw on some of their best preppy garb (after all, the lead sponsor was the brand Rugby) to have cocktails and dance on the sprawling grounds of the hosts’ home.

[All Photos by Nick Hunt for PMc] The Southampton Fresh Air Home kicked off their 108th Camp Season with the Decorators-Designer-Dealers (D-D-D) event this past Saturday at The Southampton Fresh Air Home. Although decorators, designers, and dealers might sound more like a convention than a charity, the combination of the three donated a wide array of items including art, linens, furniture, fashion, jewelry, porcelains, wine, travel, sports and entertainment. The proceeds from the sale of these donated items went to the Southampton Fresh Air Home. Overall, this years 17th annual D-D-D event was a great success with it raising 40% of the Fresh Air Home's annual operating budget. More»

The top lot sold was Château Lafite-Rothschild--Vintage 1982 (8 bottles) for $20,400. In addition to the bidders present at the Atwater Estate on Saturday, others participated from Honk Kong, Brazil, U.K, and Japan via phone. $6,000 was raised for the Motion Picture & Television Fund with the sale of the celebrity-signed magnum of Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage 1929 champagne. [Peter Mel, Balaram Stack and Mark Healey]

Yesterday the G of G girls packed up shop and headed over to the Main Beach Surf and Sport in Wainscott for the Quiksilver Pro Surfer autograph session at 6pm. While none of us may know too much about the art of catching waves (my personal knowledge doesn't extend any further than Blue Crush), the timing couldn't be more perfect as our first surf lessons with JT White are right around the corner. Luckily for us, pro surfers such as shortboarder Mark Healey (yes, the same one that was on MTV's True Life), big wave rider Peter Mel, and 17-year old Balaram Stack were there to give us some tips on what to do, and some real true life story on what it's like to be a pro surfer.
