While everyone awaits the reopening of Jane Ballroom (soon, we promise), owner Sean MacPherson (of the Hotels Bowery and Jane and the Waverly Inn among others) has another trick up his sleeve. While laying the groundwork for GofG Hamptons, we heard rumors of a new MacPherson restaurant in Montauk. We just checked in with the man himself....

If you asked anyone in Montauk what their plans were for the weekend, they would've said "Going surfing. Duh." While the conditions were only safe for the pros and surf veterans, anyone with a board in the Hamptons was beyond psyched for the "epic surf" that was expected on the East End over the weekend thanks to Hurricane Bill. So now that Bill has come and gone, did he live up to the hype?

G.Love excitedly tweet'd before Butter's performance,"Surf Club in Montauk. Getting ready for the hit. Ohhh yeah". Although it may have rained on Saturday, it certainly didn't ruin Butter's mojo.
