Beginning Memorial Day weekend, Beaumarchais is bringing their infamous Beau Brunch to the Hamptons, and drunk brunch lovers are already celebrating. Curious to know if Beaumarchais will be the same at the beach? Go HERE to Business Insider to check out some photos of what you can expect this summer!
[Photo via] If you weren't out celebrating in the Hamptons for the last weekend of the summer than, admit it, you were stalking Alexander Skarsgard. True Blood's hottest male vampire was hitting up some of the hottest nightlife venues out on the East End this past weekend and it's your loss if you missed it. More»
Lady nightlife guru Jayma Cardoso has a lot on her plate, and is proud of it. Owner of both Montauk's the Surf Lodge and Soho's GoldBar, and also partner in Lavo, she's so cool that the New York Times decided to walk us through a week in her life. She gives the details about how she keeps it all together with her busy bee lifestyle, all the while looking fabulous. (Hint: there's not much time left for eating in her round-the-clock business.) Check out our 10 Questions with Jayma below... More»
Before we had a little spot called SL East, there was Lily Pond. The venue looked virtually the same, but apparently it had a knack for drawing in the big spenders. The average bar tab at the club between June 2010 to July 2011 was $474, according to Bundle, which has released a list of the most expensive nightclubs based on the highest average bartabs from transactional data from Citi.

While the Post took the initial dive and "exposed" the underage drinking occurring at Nello Summertimes (which, in turn, caused a major crackdown on the club and their police security guards), the NY Times is doing their own investigating, this time with the popular Hamptons hot spots such as SL East (also known as the former Lily Pond) and South Pointe. So how do these youngsters manage to get past the velvet ropes anyway? More»
It wasn't just any other Saturday night at Georgica Restaurant. If you were clubbing at this Hamptons hot spot this past weekend you were amongst the birthday bash for Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Jessica Hart's sister Ashley Hart. Jessica, who definitely knows how to throw a party or two, enjoyed the fun summer night with close friends and family. Devorah Rose, Seth Levine and other Hamptonites partied the night away to the fresh beats of DJ Heckman. More»
Back in Ocotober Dream Night Club was more of a nightmare than a dream. Carlo Petrusa, a 64-year-old man found himself in the center of a fight during a costume contest. As the fight escalated both parties took the argument out into the parking lot, and it was there that Petrusa and 35-year-old club promoter Shawn Badgett were shot. According to reports the shooter was dressed in a costume from the 1995 film "Dead Presidents". Since the shooting the club has been under tight security, but that is not what has owner Frank Vlahadamis wearing a recording wire these days. [Photo via] More»
The club selection in the Hamptons is quite limited for a couple reasons. Not everyone out here is totally into the club scene and plus, they are only open a few months out of the year. Most are constantly going under name changes thanks to changes in ownership, and not all of them can stand the test of time. But among the ones who do survive, which are few, they each have developed their own personalities, their own crowds and their own quirks. The clubs in the Hamptons are kind of like their own high school clique and that is why I have given them superlatives, to better explain each club's niche.
Without a doubt, the new kid on the nightlife block this year was the Sloppy Tuna, and though some locals may not be in approval of the name, it is the name in fact that has brought in more business this summer than its predecessor Nick's did. Everybody's got Sloppy Tuna on the brain... More»
We all started doing it back in middle school, and since then, we know we are in for a night (and a rough morning) when we start whipping it out. It is the dance move we all love and hate: the grind.
I never really realized just how many ways there were to grind until looking back on our most recent photo album from Escape To New York. From the standard, to the dirty, to the sandwich, and more check out the many faces of grinding! Which one is your favorite? More»
