In 2008 Surf Lodge, a quaint restaurant with a surf theme opened on Lake Montauk with hardly much of a bang. Sure they had a hip chef running the kitchen and a verified Manhattan nightlife crew running the party scene, but the hundreds of cars and frat boys would take a year or two to fully figure out what was brewing in Montauk. Since then, the movement of the hampters (hipsters from Manhattan) and the share house yuppies looking to party in the Hamptons has consistently headed East (Luckily for Lizzie Grubman, Conscious Point isn't even a memory in the minds of current trend-seekers). Keeping on trend, Montauk's nightlife scene will continue to dominate the Hamptons this summer, despite the growing battle between the townsfolk and these summer subversives who will be infiltrating their territory come Memorial Day weekend. But we're not here to take sides, we're here to report. Check out our official guide to Hamptons Nightlife 2013! More»
So you had a crazy Thursday, Friday and Saturday night? Cool, so did we all. And just how are you planning on spending your Monday night? Well, it should be just as crazy as the nights that preceded it. From a Saturday night at the packed Stephen Talkhouse to ladies night at the Sloppy Tuna on Tuesdays to SL East on Thursday, we've done all the dirty research to make sure that each night you head out this summer will be a success. Now prepare your liver, it's time to get boozy. More»
Apparently SL East wasn't the only Hampton's spot partying a little too hard over Memorial Day weekend. Southampton Village's recently reopened restaurant and bar Nammos received four noise complaints over the weekend, slightly edging out the three that SL East received. Nammos was formerly known as Nello Summertimes, and has been a frequently troubled location in the past according to village officials. More»
Summer might not officially begin until June 21st, but after Memorial Day Weekend, it's safe to say the Hampton's club scene is already in summer mode. The East Hampton nightclub SL East, located next door to the new Beaumarchais restaurant, received three separate complaints over the weekend. The club, which is located on Three Mile Harbor Road, was apparently too loud and rowdy for the locals, who called in multiple times to file noise complaints, and to report trash scattered on the road in front of the club. Beginning Memorial Day weekend, Beaumarchais is bringing their infamous Beau Brunch to the Hamptons, and drunk brunch lovers are already celebrating. Curious to know if Beaumarchais will be the same at the beach? Go HERE to Business Insider to check out some photos of what you can expect this summer!
[Photo via] If you weren't out celebrating in the Hamptons for the last weekend of the summer than, admit it, you were stalking Alexander Skarsgard. True Blood's hottest male vampire was hitting up some of the hottest nightlife venues out on the East End this past weekend and it's your loss if you missed it. More»
Lady nightlife guru Jayma Cardoso has a lot on her plate, and is proud of it. Owner of both Montauk's the Surf Lodge and Soho's GoldBar, and also partner in Lavo, she's so cool that the New York Times decided to walk us through a week in her life. She gives the details about how she keeps it all together with her busy bee lifestyle, all the while looking fabulous. (Hint: there's not much time left for eating in her round-the-clock business.) Check out our 10 Questions with Jayma below... More»
Before we had a little spot called SL East, there was Lily Pond. The venue looked virtually the same, but apparently it had a knack for drawing in the big spenders. The average bar tab at the club between June 2010 to July 2011 was $474, according to Bundle, which has released a list of the most expensive nightclubs based on the highest average bartabs from transactional data from Citi.

While the Post took the initial dive and "exposed" the underage drinking occurring at Nello Summertimes (which, in turn, caused a major crackdown on the club and their police security guards), the NY Times is doing their own investigating, this time with the popular Hamptons hot spots such as SL East (also known as the former Lily Pond) and South Pointe. So how do these youngsters manage to get past the velvet ropes anyway? More»
It wasn't just any other Saturday night at Georgica Restaurant. If you were clubbing at this Hamptons hot spot this past weekend you were amongst the birthday bash for Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Jessica Hart's sister Ashley Hart. Jessica, who definitely knows how to throw a party or two, enjoyed the fun summer night with close friends and family. Devorah Rose, Seth Levine and other Hamptonites partied the night away to the fresh beats of DJ Heckman. More»
