New York street wear company, Reason, is opening up a "Southampton Outpost" this summer. The official opening is tomorrow at noon. The outpost will carry the full Reason Clothing collection as well as vintage clothing and housewares, and will be located at 25 Hampton Road. More»

In the Fairchild family, not everyone stays in the family business. James Fairchild, the son of publishing giant John Fairchild (of Fairchild Publications), opened a clothing and accessories store in Southampton earlier this year, reports The New York Times.

C. Wonder, the clothing and accessories store from Christopher Burch (ex-husband of Tory), is coming to the beach! The C. Wonder flagship store opened in SoHo last October, and has since opened three more stores in Paramus, New Jersey; Roosevelt Field Mall on Long Island; and at The Westchester in Westchester, New York, but the pop-up store, which is set to open on Memorial Day Weekend, will mark the store's first trip to the beach. According to ABC, Vice President Joe Biden has decided to vacation with us once again this week in Southampton. The last time he was here was Memorial Day Weekend, which was probably a little more enjoyable than his current stay, where he was greeted by striking Verizon workers outside of his vacation home this morning. Rumor has it that Vice President Joe Biden will once again be spending his Memorial Day Weekend in Southampton. Last year he allegedly stayed with David Bohnett, known in Southampton as a supporter of cleaning up Lake Agawam, among other things. Whether or not he will stay in the First Neck Lane estate again isn't 100% clear, but it is assumed he will be there once again this weekend. Janice Dickinson had taken out her pearly (false) whites before lunching at Sant Ambroeus in Southampton and had nothing short of a heart attack when she discovered they were missing. LOLA Summer
