I love my day drinking, but sometimes I feel slightly inapropriate when I am searching for a cold one mid-afternoon. If you are like me and looking for some afternoon sauce but don't want to be too obvious, I have the answer with these recipes for alcohol infused ice pops! MORE>>

Summer is almost at its end; Labor Day weekend is rapidly approaching and the thought of the weather getting chilly and heading back to the city is daunting. So, here's an idea, let's not think about it! We are going to get a little nostalgic for a minute and recall the top 10 things that we will miss this summer. What will you miss? More»

Growing up near a beach meant that exercise consisted of riding bikes, roller blading, surfing, swimming and running. I was quite the athlete in high school: track super star, varsity basketball, first doubles in tennis. The moral of the story is that I never have really embraced gym culture, the whole going to "Zumba" at 4pm followed by "Sunset Yoga" and an hour on the elliptical  with a "Power Shake" doesn't quite cut it for me. So when I was invited to take a HIIT class at SoulCycle in East Hampton I was a little hesitant. What do I wear? Do they wear make up? Should I get a manicure beforehand? I begged my writers to accompany me, but they all had "prior engagements." More»

Can you believe that it is already mid-August? Thanks to the wonderful world of advertisement, fall has been on my brain for two weeks. We are all aware that we are only down to a matter of weeks to soak up the sun and justify our day drinking. This got me thinking. What is there left to do out in the hamptons that I haven't had the chance to do? Here it is folks the five things to do on the East end before summers end. More»

Just add another one to the list. Not only do we have planking, owling, and sloppy tuna-ing, but now "leisure diving" has been added to the lineup. Brian Thorne, Harvard Business School grad and co-founder of Leisuredive.com, explained to the Boston Herald, “Planking and owling lack a coolness factor. The idea, pictures and backgrounds of leisure diving just screams summer fun." Ya it does. And where did it all start? Right here in the Hamptons! [Photo via]

Well, it's already the first week in August (can you believe it!?) and you know what that means: SHARK WEEEEEEEK! Yes, that's right, the most wonderful time of the year is upon us once again and I couldn't be more excited. I know, I know Shark Week is nothing more than a marketing ploy (well done, Discovery) but it is the greatest ploy ever created and I have no shame in enjoying every second of it. Plus, it's a great excuse to drink every night of the week and not feel bad about it. But there's more to Shark Week than just drinking some beers and watching tv. Here's a guide of what to do this holiday season: More»

Summertime is a weird time period where the rules relax for everyone and indulging yourself is more acceptable. (Rose wine, gawking at polo players for an entire day, and Cyril's all fall under this category.) But I got to thinking about what I really do differently in the summer... More»

So we heard Charlie Sheen has been hanging out at the Sloppy Tuna, one of our favorite week night spots, so it must be cool, right? Well, we are about to make it super cool. One night, while throwing back a few drinks at The Tuna, I called somebody a "sloppy tuna." Without missing a beat, he turned around and flashed what has now become known as the Sloppy Tuna face (or Sloppy Tuna-ing) amongst friends, and most recently strangers... More»

There's nothing like a good hair day, especially when it comes naturally (or not so naturally). You have to make sure you're taking care of your tresses, and that goes way beyond just washing it and throwing in a little product here and there. You may think the sun is your friend because you're developing those natural highlights for free, but what it's actually doing is destroying your mane. More»

I'm going to be honest with you guys. I love accents. I love hearing them, I love talking with one, I love making fun of them and I am hopelessly attracted to them. So when I came across this video of a tall, gangly European (also known to many as the fashion reporter, The Facehunter) who spent his Fourth of July weekend in Montauk, I struck accent gold. It still would have been funny even if he was American, but it was his foreign inflection that had me watch it over and over again, laughing more with each view. More»
