We pride ourselves here on our wide array of beach reads. There's definitely books in our GofG "library" we know you've never heard of, ones that were probably on your English mandated reading list, photo books, and of course, classics like Judy Blume's Summer Sisters. We saw a few copies on the Jitney and a beach towel or two, but on the off chance there were people out there who still hadn't cracked open this novel about these two friends journey into adulthood, we thought we'd make sure to get it on your "To-Do" list. Or, eh, well ok, we get it, we're not quite sure what you do then, but we have an alternative for you. And if you're just too burnt for the sun from this summer, there's no better way to seek refuge and still enjoy those last few days than a good old fashioned movie. While we're out prancing around on the pristine beaches of the Hamptons, chowing down on perfectly cooked burgers and dancing around till the sun's nearly up like summer may never come again, you can enjoy these final days of the season with our list of the Top Summer Movies. The weather's been a little chilly here the past few days, and while the beaches are still full of people packing in the last week of summer, the nights have been better suited for a sweater than a swim. But we found the perfect solution if you're looking for a swimsuit for those chillier days and transitional weeks from summer to fall: This "sexy fake fur bikini, worn here by Laetitia Casta, will keep you warm in all those important places while frolicking... well, wherever you deem it necessary to frolick in a fake fur bikini. [All photos by Rob Rich] The Friday nights at Barracuda Bar are soon coming to an end and while this water-front bar tucked inside the Montauk Yacht Club certainly isn't trying to compete with the Pink Elephants, Dunes, and other fist-pump inducing clubs of the Hamptons, we're glad to see it bringing to Montauk the closest thing the town will ever see to a night club. Something we're sure the surfers, locals, and Montauk fans are just fine with. The Friday night Bar Bashes were a hit all summer with lots of bar-top loving, occasional lap dances, and designer dance-offs with music spun by the famed DJ Jeffrey Tonnenson while the crowd enjoyed their crazy night out...According to Montauk's standards, of course.

Yet another horse riding competition has come to a close with yet another crowd of Hamptonites showing up to do everything but watch the game. Unlike polo, bleachers surrounded the field for the 34th annual Hampton Classic Horse Show for spectators actually interested in watching the game, but on the other side the Grand Prix field? The tents. The place for the horse show-goers more concerned with cocktails, photo ops, and who's wearing the biggest hat than catching the competition. Guests included... More»

Cole for ROB RICH] We know that a night out at Surf Lodge involves relaxing by the water on a Tracy Feith print bed with a drink in hand, your buddies all around, and taking in a performance from which ever musical artist Surf Lodge has on deck for the evening. We can't get enough of the Montauk chill spot for all of those reasons, but we're glad to see these two enjoying Surf Lodge in their own way by ripping up the dance floor. They may have been the only ones spotted dipping, spinning, and twirling indoors, but this dancing duo (who has apparently seen one too many episodes of Dancing With the Stars) we're two of many as the outdoor crowd let loose showing off their rump shaking skills as the booze kept flowing and the sun went down.
