Jennifer Lopez's Beach Buggy Got Towed In The Hamptons

The most exclusive spot out East isn't The Maidstone or even the Carbone pop-up in Southampton. Apparently, it's the parking lot at Mecox Beach, where even a celebrity as big as J.Lo can't get in without a pass.

On Tuesday, Lopez and her posse learned that the hard way, when their small fleet of dune buggies got towed from the area for not having permits, according to the Daily Mail. Witnesses say they all just pulled into the parking area at the Bridgehampton beach, which only issues seasonal passes to local residents along with a limited number of day passes, ignoring the parking attendants who were checking permits.

In what we imagine to be a mortifying moment, the police were called and the buggies were towed away, leaving Lopez and her crew, along with her two children, stranded. Eventually, a friend came to pick them up in her fiance Alex Rodriguez's truck.

Welcome to the Hamptons, where love may not cost a thing, but the lack of a parking permit certainly will!
