The Hayground School in Bridgehampton was home to the annual Great Chefs Dinner this Sunday evening. Renowned local chefs, as well as famous names from Manhattan, all joined together to provide delcious cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and plates for the guests.
The event commenced at 5pm with a cocktail hour and silent art auction under the tents on the Hayground School grounds. Everything from wood oven pizza from Rolling in Dough Pizza to grilled octopus from the Stone Creek Inn, was being served on Verterra Dinnerware (a biodegradable plate made from fallen palm leaves) to cocktail party guests. Top Chef's head judge Tom Colicchio, of Colicchio and Sons, served up Pork Carniatas Shawarma Style, and of course there were more delectable dishes from the likes of Serafina, Foody's, La Fondita, Lure and Almond.

Among the plentiful thirst quenchers at the cocktail reception were Greenport Harbor Brewing Company, who came equipped with 4 of their best beers, as well as Vine Wine + Cafe 1SR with some lychee, elderflower, strawberry, and blackberry champagne cocktails.
Of course the dinner menu was sprinkled with famous names and delicious plates, with courses prepared by Marc Meyer and Emily Wallenjack of Cook Shop, Five Points, and 100 Acres, Eric Ripert of Le Bernardin, Laurent Tourondel of Brasserie Ruhlman, and Miche Bacher of Sacred Sweets. Guests such as Jon Bon Jovi and Richard Gere enjoyed everything from Striped Bass to Virginia Pork was on the 4 course menu, leaving no stomach unsatisfied.
