LIGALY is the group for Long Island lesbian, gay, transgender, and bisexual youth, and they are renowned for their efforts advocating for and providing social support. LIGALY also has a fantastic cultural center --right now the exhibit is deals with the German Army's treatment of homosexuals during WWII, and every year the organization throws one of the summer's biggest fundraisers, On The Bay. Tonight the Southampton Inn's new restaurant OSO will be the scene of the kick-off party for On the Bay (which is being held on August 16). If your schedule is clear form 6-8, go show your support (and to try some of chef Peter Dunlop's barbequed duck and portbello mini-pizza's).
