This year's Hamptons Designer Showhouse event was one for the records. An event that takes the cutting edge of home fashion, which is often securely hidden behind closed doors, and brings it out into the open for everyone to enjoy. Sponsored by Traditional Home Magazine, the Hampton Designer Showhouse brings together approximately 25 interior designers, artists, and landscapers to transform one shingle-styled house in Watermill, into a fabulous masterpiece that the Hamptons can be proud to own. Guests such as, Anna Wintour, Nathan Thomas, Jamee Gregory, Robert Zimmerman, Trina Turk, and Former Mayor Rudy Giuliani were able to explore the Showhouse room for room, while enjoying the sunset and drinking cocktails in typical Hamptons style all while supporting a good cause...

Each room is designated for different participants, which encourages the decorators unique visions and design talent to show through. This year's house, built by Farrell Building Co, surely caused a great deal of "home envy" for everyone who attended. Proceeds from the event will go to benefit The Southampton Hospital. Were there Saturday night? If not, Have no fear! The Showhouse is open for general admission through September 6th.
