Sophomore Launches Pop-Up Shack At Cynthia Rowley Montauk

This Saturday, the scenesters of the Lower East Side were transported out to the East End for the opening of the Sophomore pop-up shop at Cynthia Rowley Montauk. The bungalow-style store was in full swing, with both design teams in attendance to celebrate the launch of the newest "Shack in the Back" venture.

Every other weekend this summer, guests gather at Cynthia Rowley at the Memory Motel to celebrate a new venture in the ever-rotating "Shack in the Back."  Kicking off the summer was Lauren Bush's line of bags and accessories for FEED Projects, and since then, looks from designers like Bonobos, Drug/Money, and, this week, Sophomore.

Guests perused the collection of goods both from Cynthia Rowley and Sophomore, chatting with the staff and drinking Prosecco and mixed drinks with Kanon Organic Vodka. Gushed one of the guests as she pulled a graphic tee from the shelf,

“I could practically live in this shirt, it’s so soft and perfect.”

Cynthia Rowley’s flirty and feminine silhouettes mixed with the edgy designs of Sophomore’s creative duo Chrissie Miller and Madeleine von Froomer will give East Enders many an option for those laid-back August outfits.
