"Off The Eaten Path"...John's Drive In

[Photo by flickr] During the summer, there are countless fantastic eateries that hardly garner close to the same attention as places like Nello's or Bobby Van's. However, these "Off the Eaten Path" places are often just as awesome. John's Drive In, although located in Montauk, is the perfect place for burgers, fries, and milkshakes. The prices are what you would expect for a decent burger and a soda.

They also make chicken wraps that are finger licking good and taste extremely fresh. Based on several trips to John's, it looks like a popular spot with the Montauk locals and as Kendra and Carson discovered it is also a great place to scope out hot surfer guys. It is also ideally located close by Surf Lodge, so on your way home, its an easy stop for a quick bite to eat. John's Drive In certainly gives Slo-Jack's a good run for its money.
