After an entire summer season sans a spot to grab a cup or cone (RIP Scoop du Jour), East Hampton is finally back in the ice cream game.
Upper East Side ice cream parlor A La Mode Shoppe will be opening this spring in the same Newtown Lane location Scoop du Jour formerly occupied.
Founded in 2015 by husband and wife Marc and Sandy Roth, the sweet brand will offer a menu of artisanal hand-crafted flavors notable safe for those with allergies. We're talking no nuts, no eggs, no sesame, as well as gluten-free and dairy-free options.
Summer can't come fast enough!
