On Saturday, Guild Hall and the Hamptons International Film Festival presented a screening of the French film, "L'amour Fou."  Alec Baldwin hosted the event with special guests Simon Doonan, Creative Ambassador-at-Large of Barney's New York, and fashion icon and cultural critic, Cintra Wilson.

The documentary, translated into English as "Crazy Love", concentrated on iconic fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent's love affair with longtime partner and creative co-founder, Pierre Berge, and provided extraordinary insight into the groundbreaking YSL brand and the mysterious Yves Saint Laurent himself.

Cognac Wellerlane, a pseudo-TV hostess, was on the red carpet interviewing notable guests and providing the event with a certain eccentricity and gaudy flamboyance that could only be appreciated in the art and fashion world.

"L'amour Fou" was the third film in the Hamptons International Film Festival's Third Annual SummerDoc series and will conclude next month with the screening of "Bombay Beach".
