On Friday, local legend Nancy Atlas strummed her guitar with her band at Navy Beach in Montauk. The sun was shining, the weather was hot, but the view was killer and the music was pure summer -- evoking that sensation of relaxed mellow-ness that everyone loves about Montauk.
Her style, a cross between Americana and folk music, inspired all ages and had fans and fellow fun-seekers pulling up their boats along the coast and dropping anchor, just to listen to Nancy play. She sang a few self-proclaimed summer "ditties" and also a yet-to-be-released track called "Just Another Day", a true taste of her latest song styles for loyal fans.
The two hour chunk of time was the perfect way to welcome in the evening, and the sunset, and was the epitome of Hamptons summer fun. Live music, cold drinks, warm weather and sand between your toes? What more could you ask for?

Fans and local diners enjoying the summery jams.

Taking time out of her set to chat with the locals.
