The theme may have been "Inferno", but there was nothing remotely hellish about The Watermill Center's 16th Annual Summer Benefit, an evening of cocktails, art installations, performances, dinner and dancing. The woods of Southhampton at dusk provided an idyllic backdrop to the "flaming" attire of the guests (per the invitation). Lucky attendees included Rufus Wainwright, Isabella Rossellini, Real Housewives Ramona Singer and LuAnn De Lesseps, Bob Colacello, Austin Scarlett, and basically any other on-the-scene New Yorker who could afford the $1,000 ticket price. All proceeds benefit the Watermill Center, which supports emerging artists who have interdisciplinary approaches to the arts.
