THE #CROWS NEST ON INSTAGRAM = N/A (there are too many #crowsnests around the world) Once a run down local restaurant, the Crows Nest has been transformed into a hotel/restaurant combo with a scene that feels similar to our vacations on the Mediterranean. Think cool surfer families sampling a hummus platter, and roasting marshmallow around a smoldering camp fire.  Both local hip families (ala Ralph Lauren, Peter Beard, Bruce Webber), and visitors in from the city spend hours waiting for a table. Luckily there's lake Montauk to cool down at while they do. Rating: 3 Fedoras. For the "too cool to get a table" and marshmallow roasting activities. Most of the hampters here are ones over 35.
