[All photos by ROB RICH.] Grammy-award nominated Brazilian songstress Bebel Gilberto soothed the Surf Lodge crowd Sunday night as part of the outdoor 2009 Patron Concert Series. Born in New York City, and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Bebel has traveled the world with her talent winning international awards and collaborating with the likes of Thievery Corporation, Caetano Veloso, Arto Lindsay, and David Byrnes along the way. She took a break from working on her new album due out next year to perform, fitting right in with the Sunday night Surf Lodgers.
