Matt Lowell sounds like a less eccentric Dave Matthews, topped with dashes of Martin Sexton and Paolo Nutini, and a smidgen of Matt Costa. It's easy listening you can dance, sing, and emphatically nod your head to. The Boston native (and Berklee alum) got the buzz spreading on last summer's Camplified tour, but his new songs are tighter, more hooky, and completely ready for indoor, and larger venues.
With any justice (and luck), this guy will be huge within the year, so check him out while the bragging rights last. He's on tonight at 8 at the Talkhouse, and tickets are only $10.
