This past Saturday The Montauk Beach House continued their summer line up of great DJs and an even greater pool party at No. 50. This members only poolside scene makes you feel sorry for everyone that decided to hit the beach instead. Adorable waitresses wearing a retro red and blue uniform deliver bottle after bottle of, well, whatever liquor you desire, just adding fuel to the fire and keeping you going strong until the sun sets. Sag Harbor amped up the drama with a colorful sunset last night.
Rebecca Hessel Cohen breezed into WellNEST in Sag Harbor on Saturday morning wearing one of her own designs, a flowing and carefree LoveShackFancy dress in heavenly blue chiffon. Layered with gold jewels, a colorful Dannijo necklace and a hot pink mini Celine tote, I was shocked when Rebecca revealed that she hand dyed the dress she was rocking oh-so well. The collection, which was first a series of simple dresses designed for Rebecca's bridesmaids is now comprised of dresses, maxi skirts, camisoles, cropped and long racerbacks, shorts and mini skirts! It seems like spending your summer in the Hamptons makes everyone around you automatically eligible for a post on Rich Kids Of Instagram. Whether they make it on that notorious site or not, you can't argue that there are some great Instagram accounts to follow in the Hamptons. Back in June we gave you a list of 6 Hamptons Instagrams to keep you in the know, and now we're back, giving your instagram feed a little update for the month of August. From a photographer, to a famous son, and a local photographer, we have seriously covered it all. And don't forget to follow us at @guestofaguest. More»

This weekend, The New York Times posted a story in their Sunday Styles section on the hipsterization of Montauk. Titled "Noted: Montauk's Hipster Fatigue" it's url title tag reads: "Montauk Feels the Effects of Too Many Hipsters." Guest of a Guest even got a shout out (for coining the term "Hampsters" two years ago - get it? Hipsters + Hamptons). We've been on to this local phenomenon for several seasons out east (see "Your Official Guide To Becoming A Hampster," and, "Montaukburg: Topless Hipsters, Taxidermy, Just Some Of The Trends Williamsburg Is Bringing To Montauk"). The stuffed deer head proudly displayed (non-ironically) next to tanning oil on Ditch Plains beach last year signified we were close to reaching the zenith (or nadir?, depending on your perspective) of the hipster insanity. This Sunday Styles piece may just be the final fedora.
So, what's a regular Joe to do? We've spent the better part of the summer checking out Montauk's establishments for hipsters, and feel confident that we can provide a guide for where to go (or not go) to spot these hampsters. Check out our Fedora rating scale below... More»

With MPG ( known in our hearts as Zach Morris) officially off the market this week, it’s time to remember the beginning, with one and only Kelly Kapowski. It’s hard not to love her: unyielding positive attitude, peppy spirit, and one incredible mane of hair. With the season’s insurgence of rainbow-colored denim, floral prints and sexy body con dresses, it’s easier than ever to channel your inner Bayside Tiger. Go get ‘em Tiger! More»
