The New Day & Night Sets Sail

by BRITTA LOFGREN · May 17, 2010

Come partygoers and champagne-sippers, o'er land and through sea, to the just-announced new Day & Night spot at East Hampton Point Marina & Yacht Club!  Your Saturdays now have a standing date with Jack Daniels (or a variation thereof) and the finest of Hamptons daytime drinkers.-

Derek and Daniel Koch have been behind many the party-while-the-sun's-still-out Saturdays at NYC's Merkato 55, Revel, I Tre Merli, and Cipriani Downtown Upstairs; last year's Southampton outpost at  Day & Night Beach Club proved to be a worthy extension of the notoriously debaucherous debacles, so naturally we're looking forward to reinstating our summer Saturday routine.

With this year's spot located in (yes, literally in) scenic Three Mile Harbor, the young, beautiful, and carefree can arrive by land or sea and enjoy a day aboard yachts up to 150-feet with decks perfect for sunning, dining, drinking, and dancing (I think that about covers our weekend to-do list, right?)  Oh, and just in case your yacht is too large to anchor at the actual Marina, the Day & Night crew will have jet skis sent out to shuttle you back and forth from the party.  Now that's what we call customer service.

Like last year, Derek and Daniel will be kicking off the season with a Memorial Day party on Saturday, May 29th, and then open for brunch 12pm-6pm every Saturday throughout the summer.  We're certainly looking forward to setting sail (it'll never get old!) on sunny Saturday afternoons, as well as what will surely be many pun-filled posts to come.
