Yep, it’s that time of year again…time to get out your fighting tiger gear, and head across the river for some beers, lawn parties, and PJ’s pancakes.
It’s Princeton Reunion time this weekend.
And, while you’re there, if you manage to stay sober enough to actually enjoy some of the sites this town has to offer, might I suggest checking out the following:
- The Conchiglie Balsamico dish at Teresa’s
- Ricky’s Candy Cones and Chaos for lots and lots of Sower Powers
- The Running Company for the best advice on trail running around Lake Carnegie
- Photo hunt at Winberries
- Hogie Haven for the best hoagies in the universe!
- Mediterra for the charcuturie platter and artisanal cheeses
- Triumph Brewery’s beer tour

I used to live near Princeton — Triumph is THE BEST. I also love Teresa’s, but my favorite is (was) the veggie lasagna. Also check out the Princeton Record Exchange on S. Tulane for your vinyl and used CD fix (the Jimi Hendrix War Heros album I bought there is one of my prized possessions) and then hit up Thomas Sweet to satiate even the sweetest tooth. OH! And don’t forget Small World Coffee — they brew their mud Seattle-style (which means you should probably tip your barista, as well) and P.J.’s Pancake House (where you can carve your name into your table or the adjacent wall while you wait for your food — it’s the small things in life …)
