..but locals might get a raw deal. Nobu partner Richie Notar has ditched a traditional reservations system (that's way too pedestrian for the Hamptons, right?) for the sort of gauntlet pioneered by (and pretty much exclusive to) Harlem Italian classic Rao's.
Grub Street explains that to keep away the plebs, Notar will handpick the lucky few who will eat at the sushi haven's "seasonal pop-up" satellite out east. And if you can't make your 8pm seating, you're responsible for passing the gift down to someone else. How very green!
Let's just hope whale meat doesn't appear on the menu.
