David Lion Rattiner, editor of the Montauk Pioneer and son of Dan’s Papers founder Dan Rattiner, recently discussed (along with our very own Rachelle Hruska) the "invasion of Montauk" as the other Hamptons expand to the far East with new vacationers in tow, a fear of many Montauk locals and longtime regulars. David explains, “Montauk has allowed to occur what a lot of people hoped would never happen.” As much as we appreciate the nightlife the Hamptons has to offer, we might have to agree with David on this one. A night out in Montauk is hardly as regrettable as a night out amongst the club-hoppers of the Hamptons.
