Penny Candy Shop in Watermill is up for sale (tear), and, though it needs a lot of work, we think this is an attractive piece of real estate. Here's hoping that another kitschy store picks this spot up so we can get our candy fill...the last thing we need is one more J. McLaughlin around these parts.

my heart is sad the penny candy is no longer there it always made me happy to simply go inside the magical , childlike wonders and simple joys!!! wish it wold continue;that someone with the means and belief would keep it going...so our lil' boy & we could visit! love, paula

We loved stopping at the candy store on the way out to the boat on the weekends. Great memories!!
