Hampton-goers are no strangers to tasting rooms, but instead of wine, a new concept in sampling is headed out East. Vines & Branches, an oil, vinegar, and gift store, will open in Westhampton Beach on June 22.
According to Patch, the store, which also has a location in Greenport Village, NY, will carry 45 varieties of oils, vinegars, salts, spices, and other olive-oil based products. Customers will be able to sample the products in the store's tasting room. Rita Winkler, who owns the store, spoke to Patch about her reasons for opening the original location of Vines & Branches, and about the expansion of her store, saying:
"I have a unique concept that I think will work well on the South Fork and in a walking village like Westhampton Beach..."I felt a calling to share some great information, products and health benefits with the consumers."
The new store will be open 7 days a week, making it the perfect place to stop to pick up some supplies for any Hamptons dinner party!

Hope the olive oil store IS NOT "another" Veronica Foods (huge bulk distributor in Oakland, CA)supplied store...they are everywhere, same products/flavors, same embossed bottles, only prices differ, and the only info provided regarding sourcing, is the country of origin.
