Donatella Versace Launched A Fashion Student Scholarship In Honor Of Her Brother

In the midst of London Fashion Week madness, one of the biggest names in the biz is making waves - and it has nothing to do with her latest collection. On Friday, Donatella Versace announced a new scholarship initiative to help support the rising talents of world-renowned design college, Central Saint Martins.

The launch of the Gianni Versace Scholarship coincides with the 20th anniversary of the legendary designer's tragic death, and will support the future of fashion in his honor. "Central Saint Martins has educated some of the most talented designers in the world, many of whom have worked for me," said Donatella. "I've always been an advocate of supporting the industry's young talent, and it is a pleasure to be doing this scholarship."

With Ryan Murphy's upcoming (and controversial) portrayal of Versace's murder hitting television screens this January, it seems Donatella's brother will be living on in more ways than one.
