Even setting aside the fact that I live closer to the ocean than I do to Doheny, which is basically the DMZ of big-name nightspots*, we should all want more hip, fun attractions on the beautiful and spacious Westside. With Brent Bolthouse's The Bungalow serving as the latest offering from a Hollywood club king to open in and around Santa Monica, we may be on the verge of finally saying goodbye to a landlocked social scene.
