Take It or Leave It: Institution, Image, Ideology

The exhibition consists of magnificent art created by thirty-six American artists who began their passionate journey in art in late 1970s and the early 1990s. Most of the art on display was inspired by the time period cultivated by the feminist and civil rights movements. Many of the pieces represent the mass media that was prevalent during this time of age where television, newspapers, and film contribute to the symbolism created by the artists in each piece of their work. The works portray emotional experiences which can be exemplified in every art piece. Take It or Leave It pursues to relive and contribute in the artistic views that have been creatively recorded overtime.
