The Power of Photography: National Geographic 125 Years
Happy 125th Anniversary National Geographic! With over 11.5 million images since 1888, National Geographic collaborated with The Annenberg Space for Photography to put on The Power of Photography exhibit opening this Saturday, October 26. There will be 400 photographs on display with a digital installation of print and print mosaics on six video walls, each looping 501 different images which will give each visitor a unique presentation with each visit. Two documentaries will also be on display. One will showcase interviews and behind-the-scene footage with renown photographers Lynsey Addario, Marcus Bleasdale, David Guttenfelder, Abelardo Morell, Joel Sartore and Martin Schoeller, whose photographs are featured in October's issue. Another will showcase 20 other photographers about their inspirations and work.
