It's been a minute since The Standard Hollywood's Purple Lounge held "hotspot" status in this town, but could a triumphant comeback in L.A.'s notoriously fickle nightlife scene be on the horizon? Maybe, if our favorite L.A. party boy, BJ Panda Bear, has something to do with it. Last night, he hosted his new Standard Tuesdays party and it looks like he pulled out the big guns to breath new scenester life into the literally purple cavern-like space. And by that, we mean bringing out a pack of night crawlers who like to get down and dance dirty, but not in the ghetto way. I mean, they're wearing skinny jeans and cardigans...

Who knew that the farming world had a trend? Well, Mallory Sustick, a Brooklyn bartender, works like a dog to maintain, promote and advance the online farmer's market startup Plovgh that began after noticing a need for more local farm market distribution.
