Hollywood transformed after the great depression with the help of the motion picture and radio industries. People were streaming to Los Angeles from around the world looking for work in the entertainment industries, thus fueling development. Housing, entertainment and business services thrived, changing the physical landscape and creating new landmarks. Marc Wanamaker is a world class expert and consultant in film history who has worked in many facets of film production, exhibition and research for several decades. He is a published author, historian, lecturer and teacher as well as founder of Bison Archives. Bisons extensive and unique photo archive, assembled over an almost 40 year period, is used for story research, publishing, international media outlets, and documentary film production.
