The 2010 Families Matter Benefit and Celebration to honor Dr. Bill Dorfman!

Friends of the Family will be honoring America\'s Dentist Dr. Bill Dorfman on April 30th, 2010 at 6:30pm at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Dr. Bill with be presented will the 2010 Founders Award at the 14th annual \"Families Matter Benefit and Celebration\" for his incredible long standing involvement with a number of children’s charities. The signature fundraising event will be a fun, warm, and inspiring gala with a silent auction followed by dinner and entertainment. Dr. Bill has worked with Garth Brookes and the Crown Council for years to help raise more than $25 million for Smiles for Life - a non-profit organization dedicated to helping seriously ill and disadvantaged children across the country. Additionally, he co-founded The LEAP Foundation - a charity helping high school and college students gain valuable life skills through mentorships and seminars and recently shaving his head on national Television after raising more than $120,000 for the Foundation. The father of three, Dr. Bill has also donated 100% of the proceeds from his New York Times Bestselling book, Billion Dollar Smile, directly to children’s charities.
