Tame Impala are a rainbow sandstorm of stoned riffage, mindbending melody and blissed out adventurism from the most isolated city in the world — Perth, Australia. Their bedroom psych sound has won them fans the world over. Formed in 2007, the band signed to Modular Recordings in 2008. Renowned sonic maverick Dave Fridmann (MGMT/Flaming Lips) mixed their soon-to-be-released album, Innerspeaker (available May 21st, 2010). Tame Impala will embark on tour with MGMT beginning in late May.
