| Description |
A well-known regional liquor derived from blue agave, tequila has always generated a buzz for its unique properties. There's the popular notion that it produces an entirely different form of intoxication than other hard alcohol, possibly leading to a comparatively lower volume of next-day hangovers. Whatever the facts, Malo Restaurant prides itself on being one of the few, full-fledged tequila bars in town, on top of serving classic Mexican cuisine with a California twist. Tonight, the Silver Lake restaurant honors the timelessness of the spirit with a "Tequila Appreciation Night," featuring a three-course dinner, with each dish accompanied by a different Herradura Antiguo tequila cocktail. It's just what the doctor ordered for that summer cold. - Tanja M. Laden
