Alexis Hartman at Jenni Kayne

Illustrator and painter Alexis Hartman will join Jenni Kayne at her West Hollywood boutique on Saturday, May 15, 2010 to kick off an in-store exhibition of 10 framed portraits. This special show is an extension of the partnership between Hartman, who creates custom textile prints for Kayne's ready-to-wear collections, and will be displayed for sale until June 25, 2010.To celebrate the occasion, Hartman has also created an exclusive piece for the store's window which will be unveiled personally by the artist, and clients visiting the boutique that day will be able to commission custom watercolor portraits. In her unique style, Hartman will photograph her subjects before beginning her artistic process, with prices starting at $650.
