The exhibition will have an evening with the band Portugal. The Man, also a participants in the collective art display.
“Los Angeles I’m Yours” transforms Space 15Twenty Gallery into a living art market. Filled with an eclectic mix of found objects, these vintage pieces are given new life as over 30 artists reinterpret and reincarnate these objects into art--everything from vintage glass ware, old vinyl records, antique lamps, and odd knick knacks. These vintage find are drawn on, painted on, and manipulated by the artists into a new form. Artists include Gary Baseman, Geoff McFetridge, Steven Harrington, Tim Biskup, musicians Portugal. The Man, actor/musician Jason Schwartzman, film director/screenwriter Neil LaBute, and over 30 Los Angeles artists.
