The month-long haunted attraction, Los Angeles Haunted Hayride, swept the city off its feet in the successful inaugural year. Its new location of Griffith Park’s Old Zoo was chosen due to the high interest by haunt experts and supernatural enthusiasts as one of South California’s most haunted spots. The high-scare, isolating ride through a dark forest is the city’s only haunted hayride, with other attractions including a haunted maze, full carnival, games and food. In total, the event will be open for fifteen nights between October 8th and October 31st. Parent company, Ten Thirty One Productions, owns, produces, and promotes attractions internationally with an emphasis on creating awareness and fundraising for Animal and Wildlife Preservation, as well as Environmental Conservation. Sponsors include Gelson’s Supermarket, Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt, Hoffy, and LA Parks Foundation.
The event will include appearances by notable guests Travis Barker, Cassie Scerbo (Make It or Break It), Amber Lancaster (MTV’s The Hard Times of RJ Berger), Jayson Blair (MTV’s The Hard Times of RJ Berger), Jon Huertas (Castle), Jonathan Bennett (Mean Girls, Van Wilder), Michael Rosenbaum (Smallville), Melora Hardin (The Office), Charlie McDermott (The Middle), Scout Taylor-Compton (The Runaways, Halloween), Bobby Campo (The Final Destination), Robert Hoffman (Step Up 2), Los Angeles Haunted Hayride Executive Director Melissa Carbone and more.
