| Description |
Two beloved and celebrated actors (try to) answer questions about their careers and body of work, in a fun, game show approach to the old career discussion. We sure remember all the hard work they’ve done, the award winning successes, the forgotten characters we are devoted to. But do they?
Our contestants: Jack Black and Shirley MacLaine
Testing their memories: Leonard Maltin
The evening will pit the Oscar winning actress - author - legend Shirley MacLaine against her most recent co-star, actor-musician Jack Black. Shirley MacLaine has worked with such acclaimed directors as Billy Wilder, Alfred Hitchcock, and James Brooks and starred opposite Jack Lemmon, Peter Sellers, Frank Sinatra, Jack Nicholson and Clint Eastwood.
Jack Black’s filmography includes roles for such noted directors as Stephen Frears, Tim Burton and Peter Jackson while his co-stars have ranged from Ben Stiller and Robert Downey, Jr. to Jennifer Jason Leigh and Kate Winslet. The two of them can be seen in Richard Linklater’s black comedy, Bernie, that opens the 2011 Los Angeles Film Festival.
