Savor Los Angeles, by PARALLEL LINES, will be presenting PAIRINGS! (or as we like to call it, BFFs - Best Friend Foods!); the next event in the Savor Los Angeles tasting series showcasing an exclusive set of LA's best-of-best purveyors of foods made for each other, fusion, nostalgic specialties and unexpected flavor combinations. Think: Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup, Caramelized Bacon trail mix, contrasting incorporations of the aromatic Pandan leaf and more. The soiree will take place June 2nd, 2011 at Siren Studios Orange, a one of a kind 8,500+ sq. foot playground featuring elegant high ceilings, multiple rooms and a loft with separate dining, lounge and bar areas.
The intimate gathering will boast an assortment of tasty fare from Bangers & Smashed, Cast Iron Gourmet, The Farm of Beverly Hills, Malo/Mas Malo Restaurant, The Oaks Gourmet, Pure Cheesecakes (Savory Cheesecakes), Reservoir, Starry Kitchen and more to be announced. This time around the festivities will also include a specially curated Pop-up Shop featuring items from participants and handpicked notions. Offerings will range from Special Dining Gift Certificates, cooking accessories, take-home portions from participants, fine gifts, and charming novelties. The evening will also include a complimentary bar provided by VeeV Açaí Spirit and DRY Soda, music, photobooth, raffles, and gift bags.
In addition, the event will be benefitting CoachArt, whose mission it is to improve the quality of life for children and adolescents with chronic and life-threatening illnesses by providing free, personal lessons in the arts and athletics. The Pop-up Shop and Special Dining Gift Certificates from our participants will be available with a portion of proceeds to benefit CoachArt.
