Breath of Life Awards 2011

BREATHE LA has continued our commitment to promote clean air and healthy lungs through research, education, advocacy and technology since 1903. Honorees include: Southern California Gas Company, Breath Of Life Award Hon. Long Beach Mayor Bob Foster, Civic Leadership Award Southern California Leadership Council, Community Impact Award Keynote Speaker Mary D. Nichols, Chairman of the California Air Resources Board. REATHE LA will honor leaders in education, industry, finance and government at the 2011 Breath of Life Awards. The awards recognize honorees who strive to promote clean air and healthy lungs in Los Angeles County each and every day. “We are humbled to acknowledge Southern California Gas Company’s leadership in achieving extensive emissions reductions targets and implementing aggressive energy initiatives,”� stated Dr. Richard Barbers, BREATHE LA chair of the Board. An estimated 250 dignitaries, business leaders and clean technology experts will gather for an inspirational evening to benefit the most vulnerable in the community through BREATHE LA's high quality programs and services.
