The Festival closing day begins with our 4th annual “Big Shorts From Little Groms” filmmakers contest. Kids 18 and under were invited to make a short action sports film no longer than 5 minutes. The best films will screen and a panel of judges will present awards to the films, with an overall Festival Grom filmmaker winner. Lucky winners in the past have gone on to be hired by some of the largest surf companies in the world, with their job making films.
