We are back with another round of our picks for the best of awards season red carpet fashion, this time with selections from the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards held last night at the Beverly Hilton. Of course there were plenty who left us a bit underwhelmed, but they're probably dealing with plenty of backlash elsewhere on the blogosphere today, so let's discuss those who hit the high notes and even exceeded our expectations with their sartorial choices. Without further ado, here are our top 16 looks from the 2013 Golden Globes red carpet. [All photos via]

This Sunday, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association will present the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards on NBC, and it will probably be a ridiculous production. How can we make this assumption? Well, empirically, of course. Whether it's stars drunkenly storming the stage or getting groped by network correspondents on the red carpet, here are nine of the most outrageous, absurd and downright hilarious moments in the history of the Golden Globes. Why should this year's be any different?

The 70th Annual Golden Globes helps kick off awards season on Sunday, meaning endless hours of painfully dry ceremonies (though Tina and Amy could mercifully change that up this year) of famous people giving other famous people statues and rambling speeches in the months ahead. Though we are admittedly not big fans of the award shows themselves, we do love watching all of the stars arrive on the red carpet to see who shines brightest in their glamorous gowns and suits. In anticipation of the fashions we'll see at Sunday's big show, let's take a walk down our favorite part of memory lane with a look back at our picks for Best Dressed of Golden Globes past...

Ah, yes, Hollywood's ceremonious patting-itself-on-the-back circuit known as awards season is just about upon us as the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards kick off the insanity this Sunday. With the big show just days away, L.A. is kicking into high gear with all kinds of celebrity-filled events leading up to the ceremony, plus the swanky after parties. And if (like us) you haven't seen all the movies and TV shows nominated this year, that doesn't mean you can't still get hip to all the festivities surrounding the awards and make the most of this time of year. To that end, we bring you our official guide to the gifting suites, pre-parties, galas, dinners and more happening all over town in honor of the 2013 Golden Globes Week. Happy party crashing, everyone!

There's a lot we would do to be Tina and Amy's BFF sidekick for the night. We would even consider buying their friendship for $36,000. Just kidding, we're not that crazy. But we are looking forward to their much needed comic relief at the Golden Globes this Sunday. What's better than watching this drunken dynamic duo co-host the 70th annual award show? In honor of their hosting duties this weekend, we've put together a photo montage of their funniest moments together (and the top ten reasons we're ready for that $36,000 raise).
When the worlds of television and film collide, you’ve got something golden – the Golden Globes, that is. This Sunday, the Globes are kicking off the 2013 awards season, and we’ve been working our way through the nominations so that you can seem on-screen savvy (okay, maybe we’re just TV addicts and cinephiles, but we’ll write off our extensive watching as work-related). Here are some tips and tricks so that you can sound like a moving image maven! More»

After the awards ceremony winded down, celebrities dispersed into the night and the red carpets were rolled out yet again, mostly decking the halls of the Beverly Hilton, where the majority of Sunday's after parties were held. HBO kicked things off at Circa 55, where guests like Jane Fonda, Guy Pearce, and Ewan McGregor, and winner Claire Dane munched on beef tenderloin and sipped martinis. NBC had A-listers Jon Hamm, Colin Firth, and Nicole Richie schmoozing under the stars at the Beverly Hilton rooftop - right across from where Harvey Weinstein kept the company of Golden Globe winners Meryl Streep and Jean Dujardin, as well as Leo DiCaprio and countless other guests at his annual party. The 2012 Golden Globes happened last night, and if we've learned one lesson from the whole to-do, it's a lesson we've learned before: never bet against Harvey Weinstein. Neither competition nor nature could keep Harv down last night, first as nominees associated with the Weinstein Company (The Artist, The Iron Lady) won big, and again when even the rain couldn't manage to prevent most of Hollywood from attending the Weinstein after-party at Trader Vic's. Are you guys sick of awards season yet? Well, that's irrelevant since Hollywood has only just begun the annual ceremonious patting of itself on the back with more lavish red carpet events and mini statues than we care to try and count, with the first really major one held last night at the Beverly Hilton. The 2012 Golden Globes drew a serious list of the industry's biggest figures to formally recognize excellence in TV and motion pictures. More»
