So which coast has the edge on pool parties? The West coast gets spoiled with summer weather all year, so you'd think they have the genre down. On the other hand, the East coast really packs everything it can into the season of sun. Brief, but aggressive. After a Jay-Z appearance and shows from bands including Girl Talk, we'd say Brooklyn's JELLY properly represents our hood. There's the celeb factor, amazing music, hipster summer fashions, and the city skyline. More»

It's Rumer Willis' big screen premiere, aren't you excited? Mama Demi Moore sure is. She made it out to support her eldest daughter at the premiere of Sorority Row in Los Angeles last night. Also there was Audrina Patridge, Carrie Fisher, Cisco Adler, and a slew of young stars from the movie. Curious as to what type of film this is? Well, as if the title didn't give it away, the fact that IMDB lists characters such as "Bra-Clad Sister" and "Already Drunk Sister" should give you an idea of why this film is premiering in LA and not Venice this week.

Joseph Gordon LevittChristopher Nolan's latest film pairs talent from recent indie classics and Hollywood royalty. Ellen Page and Joseph Gordon Levitt, who is coming off of the summer love hit, "500 Days of Summer" are teaming up with Leonardo DiCaprio for the action sci-fi thriller where a CEO finds himself caught in a blackmailing scandal. It is currently set for a July 2010 release date, so these Los Angeles shoots are the closest we'll get to the flick before next season. More»

Christian Audigier

It hasn't been long since someone who could singlehandedly represent New Jersey's finest last popped up, pajama'd out with Izzy Gold. Sippin' his vino, doing his thang. Well, he's back: Christian Audigier was in Los Angeles yesterday to present the new Ed Hardy collection at the Who's Next 2009 show. With a tattoo inked tour bus, and ladies head to toe in lions and roses and other things keeping it classy, it was quite the site. And nice red pants. More amazingness, below... More»

Yesterday, friends and family of the late Adam Goldstein, aka DJ AM, gathered at the Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary in Los Angeles for a private funeral. Among the mourners was Blink 182 band member Travis Barker, the only survivor besides AM of a tragic plane crash in 2008. It is the injuries from this sad event which are said to have plunged AM back into drug use, needing pain killers after nearly a decade of sobriety. The exact cause still awaiting confirmation, AM's passing is likely linked (speculation heavy on either overdose or suicide) to the crack, crack pipe and OxyContin found in his system and hear his body in the SoHo apartment where he was found. Lindsay Lohan is still going strong with that little leggin buisness of hers- 6126 legging line-inspired by her idol Marilyn Monroe (6.1.26 is the actresses birthday). This weekend, Lohan hosted a party for her new pop up legging shop at the Revolve flagship in LA on Aug. 28. DJ AM's passing was obviously on the mind of her and her friends. She spoke with Mario Lopez about what a great person AM was and the obstacles he overcame.  Her tweet upon hearing the news: "i can't believe this.. i'm in shock. why? why? r.i.p. adam."

If The Oscars are, say, Barbie, The Golden Globes are Skipper, and The Tony's are the slightly effeminate Ken, then The Daytime Emmy's are like...Barbie's weird cousin twice removed, that she is slightly embarrassed of. So what weird sightings could be spotted on the red carpet last night? Click below to find out...

Bradley Cooper Doesn't this man look like trouble? In a good way (the kind that annoys your father). Well, Bradley Cooper's good looks will hopefully make for some lovely film going as he partners with Sandra Bullock for "All About Steve," premiering at Mann's Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, yesterday. His co-star picked an interesting ensemble (pictured below), possibly as an ode to her character in the movie, an eccentric crossword puzzler. Are "puzzlers" ever not eccentric? Unclear. More»
